Men's Barnburner Hoodie - Full-Zip
very good for the rain
Super soft out of the box and extremely comfortable in weather from 50-70 degrees. Only thing I didn’t like is how much one wash made the camo dull. It also pulled a lot of the fleece to the outside of the jacket. Could have been user error.
Perfect
This is surprisingly thick and soft layer! It seems a bit large for a medium, but the long length and longer sleeves are really nice, with plenty of room to layer under. Boyfriend also owns a very similar piece from Sitka and likes this one better. He also really likes the new-sweatshirt-like fuzziness on the inside. Nice job Duck Camp.
Recently adopter a Toller, and this waterfowl camo makes it look like I’m more than the city slicker I really am.
Not as worm as advertised. We'll made
I own merino wool from a few different outdoor brands and I have to say, Duck Camp merino wool is high quality! Honestly better than I expected. I have order a few different items from here and those were very high quality also. I plan to order more from Duck Camp. Well done!
Barnburner Merino Hoodie - Wetland
This is my favorite hoodie I own . I have one in the brown color as well . I spent 8 days in elk camp and wore the hooded sweater everyday of the hunt . Not only did it look great after all the use , it was still as soft as the day I started . Tough , great fit , comfortable and looks great on . Stay comfortable at a wide range of temps alone and is great to use as a layer under a shell . Date night , opening mornig elk , late season deer , hanging out at the football game . It just stays in my arsenal for just about anything because .... well try one on and see why
I have a lot of high end wool that I use primarily for bowhunting; however, I find myself using both that Barnburner Merino Hoodie and the Barnburner Merino Guide Hoodie as layers for both deer and duck hunting and as everyday wear. Excellent merino that is very soft and warm. If windy you will need a windproof shell, since wind will cut through wool. I am 5’9”, 145 pounds, and wear a medium due to my 34” arm length.
